Overview

Impervious Drip Tips are precision engineered, high-performance mouthpieces designed for modern vaping devices. They combine advanced material science with thoughtful user-centric functionality to deliver a safer, cleaner, and more comfortable vaping experience.

Key Features & Innovation


  • IMSL-Certified Antimicrobial Material:

    Manufactured using injection-moulded polymers infused with silver-based antimicrobial particles, the material actively inhibits bacterial growth on contact surfaces. This provides built-in hygiene protection without coatings that can wear away over time.

  • Hot Liquid Deflection System:

    An internal captive ball mechanism is engineered to intercept and disperse hot e-liquid before it reaches the user’s mouth. This significantly reduces spit-back and improves comfort during use, enhancing both everyday reliability and user safety.

  • Integration of Form and Function:

    The internal geometry and ball-capture system are optimised to balance airflow, reduce splashback, and maintain consistent vapour delivery. The design minimises dead space and supports efficient draw dynamics.

  • Manufacturing Quality:

    All drip tips are fully assembled at the injection-moulding facility, ensuring tight quality control and consistent performance. Clean assembly processes support material integrity and product reliability.

Role in Development

As the product designer/manufacturer, I was responsible for:


  • Concept development and functional design of the hot-liquid dispersion system.

  • Specifying antimicrobial polymer formulation and validating IMSL certification requirements.

  • Defining injection-moulding tooling parameters and assembly processes.

  • Coordinating with the moulding partner to refine part features for manufacturability and performance.
